Pineapple - modular origami

Please see www.origami-resource-center.co… if you are not familiar with making modular origami. The website does a good job of explaining how to make the base of this model (the website is how to make a swan, but the beginning is the same for making a pineapple). For mine, each layer requires 20 pieces of paper. There are approximately 20 layers so, doing the math, 400 pieces of paper total. Just remember to start curving the layers in on the top to give it that rounded look. It's a bit difficult to keep all the paper in place. Sometimes a bit of glue does help hold everything.
